Bridging the Skills Gap
Seventy-four percent of TD professionals say they have a skills gap in their organizations and 75% expect to have one in the future, according to the eighth iteration of the Association for Talent Development’s Bridging the Skills Gap: Using Learning Opportunities to Address Current and Future Talent Needs whitepaper, sponsored by ETU. New this year is a section that focuses on the training needs of 522 working Americans, which provides insight into the thoughts of general employees in addition to TD professionals. Case studies, interviews, and examples from three organizations that have successfully addressed the skills gaps they face are also included.
