Building a Voice-Based Learning Experience for Alexa and Google Home

Voice assistants like Alexa and Google Home are gaining widespread adoption in everyday life. Voice assistants are a disruptive game ¬changer in the learning and development space, but adoption is drastically low because learning professionals aren't sure how to integrate the technology into their ecosystem. In this session, you will hack your way through developing a voice-based skill with no coding required. Discover the core concepts of voice user interface (VUI) development, learn basic VUI terminology, brainstorm learning experience use cases for a VUI, and develop an Alexa VUI skill prototype that you can take back to your workplace to demo and expand.
