Using Technology to Promote Learning Transfer and Behavior Change
Speaker: Art Kohn
From the TechKnowledge 2016 Conference: The goals of any e-learning program are to teach employees information and enable them to transfer it to the workplace. But learning transfer is a complex process. Most e-learning designers don't understand the simple steps they can take to ensure that knowledge transfers from the computer to the workplace. In this session, the speaker will examine the research demonstrating how to use e-learning technology to maximize learning transfer and positive behavior change. During the first section, he'll reveal the three myths of e-learning. During the second section, he'll discuss how interactive e-learning, simulations, and social learning environments can work together to sustain learning transfer. This session will provide you with a concise, useful overview of e-learning strategies that increase learning transfer.
